Hi IQ Users,

In this release (v0.9.26PreRel49a):
  • Fixed: Grid > Refresh all grids (Shift+F5) would erase important information for grids which were shown as tabs but not loaded. Bug appeared in v0.9.26PreRel49.
  • Fixed: Popup editor could create a run-time error (fix in v0.9.26PreRel49 was the source of this new bug)
While not affecting your data per se, this is a serious issue and all users using v0.9.26PreRel49 should upgrade or at least refrain from using this menu command

Download it here

Pierre, my grids are not showing in the regular list - they do show in the recent list.

I can reproduce this with a sample file - but *NOT* with a clean new install - so it must be something with my settings - my fonts are different, possibly other minor stuff too
1.1.6 Tahoma / 8pt
1.2.1 Corbel / 9pt

I can upload a screenshot of settings if that might help?

Also,
when I open/close the sample file - without making any changes - I get this message:

seems consistently reproducible

I'm not able to reproduce it...
Is this still a problem ?

yes, this still a problem with my install - it's not a very old (portable) install, I had to abandon my previous one at some stage last year I think.
I could abandon this one too I guess - but if you want to follow up on it I'm happy to help.

Hi Tom,

Any chance you can send the file and/or the content of the InfoQube\Users\Tom folder over ? I'll see what could be causing it ?

[/quote]It's not the file - I get the same problem in any file opened with this IQ exe.
The problem must be in the settings somewhere. So I'll just send the contents of the User folder for that exe.

(sent to your gmail account - oups gmail blocked it :-/ sent you a Dropbox link instead)

Is anybody else experiencing an install error:

An error occurred extracting
'InfoQubeIEExtensionInstall.exe':
Bad checksum in ZIP File. The file may be corrupt. (ZIP Error 39)

This might possibly be related to the file manager which I use to install new versions of InfoQube; this file manager is called Directory Opus.

I will confess to being not particularly worried by this error; I almost never use Internet Explorer and certainly not in conjunction with InfoQube.

Hi Mark
I use Directory Opus & have had no trouble - but I usually just open the zip file in Dopus (double-click) and drag/copy contents to my portable IQ folder in the opposite pane.

PS - are you sure you got a good download?
Sometimes downloads corrupt, and get saved in the browser cache - so repeated attempts to download get the same corrupted zip file.
In which case, clear the cache or use a different browser.

I use directory opus too and have no problems. Tom has a good point about browser cache...

Dunno if other users noticed, but loading many grids (20 anyone?) is now F-A-S-T-E-R than ever!
Especially if you don't have too many tab groups.
There might be some situations where one would want all grids to load *completely* at startup, but in most case being able to load the full DB so quickly with the whole workspace is great.
Thanks Pierre !
