I am certain that the answer to this question must be blindingly obvious or that it must have been answered many times previously, but I cannot find the answer just now. Is it possible to indicate that a date item should show in the calendar, and if so, how? Or is there any programmatic way in which to create calendar events? I have in mind that items with DueDate today would appear as appointments without a timeslot in the calendar for today's date.

Hi !

Currently, items don't automatically show in the Calendar, unless they were created there.

There are a couple ways to show an item in the calendar, the simplest one is to right-click on the item and select Show in the Calendar.
If the selected cell is a date, it will show at that date, otherwise the Appointments field will be used.

Hello and thank you for the reply, Pierre. That at least confirms that I haven't missed something obvious. I am aware of the "show in the calendar" option, which I have frequently used because my work schedule used to be supplied in an Excel spreadsheet. Can this post therefore be changed to a feature request? In the "wouldn't it be nice if?" low-priority area!
