Copying cell content in IQ seems less easy and intuitive.
Here's the result of copying and pasting the content of a date field (Focus is on the field in the grid, and I press Ctrl+C):

And when I do the same with the item field, the format is lost (no more bold, italic, etc) when pasted back in another cell.
To copy the content, 1- I need to select the cell, 2- press F2, 3- select the content , 4- then copy... 4 steps instead of 2 short ones.

In general, I think that single cells should be copied as they are, with the html formatting, etc., but without any other things (no tab indentations, etc.) as it makes most operations difficult -- except for specific situations where it might be handy.

As for tab indentation, it seems to me that the indentation should probably be relative to the first selected cell.
Otherwise, if ou select a bunch of same level items, but they're lower in the hierarchy, you can't paste them back easily without first removing the tabs. (I actually wonder if there are cases where keeping the tabs in an "absolute" way would always be handy.)
So, e.g. if you select 5 items at the same level but at the 3rd level of a hierarchy (not included in the copy paste), and paste them back somewhere, they should be pasted exactly where they are pasted... at the first level if that's where they are pasted, elsewhere if not; but not after 3 tabs because they were originally at the 3rd level.
