Possibly related to Armando's observation (http://www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php?q=node/3388) is my inability to enter today's date in a date column using CTRL + D. There are rare occasions when it works, but usually I have to use the calendar.
 
Also I have experienced difficulty using the down arrow pull down on date columns and pop up lists. I have to click several times to activate the calendar or list. To be clear, this is the down arrow so I can enter data.

I don't know if this will fix all issues, but in v74:
  • Fixed: Grid: Insert Date now correctly works for date fields

 Thank you Pierre. What of my first problem, namely the multiple tries to activate a pop-up? it really is frustrating. Also, is there a keyboard shortcut once I am in the cell?
