This is a follow up to the previous thread on duplicate items randomly appearing after applying filters.  I updated to 98.6b and repaired the database but the problem continues.

Now there's a new wrinkle: instead of merging, a dupe set disappeared from the grid and I can't get it back.  I found it in the scratch grid, and it's still assigned to the grid source, but it will not show up in the grid.  I tried assigning it to other grids, and it won't appear there either.   How can I get this item to appear in the grids it's assigned to?

Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Edit:  I thought I could use the "Shown In" column and "Item Info" to see which grids an item is assigned to, but it appears this only works for TLI's.

Hi Wayne,

Best would be to provide a video, or else scramble your IQBase and send it over. I'll the able to see if there is an issue and provide a fix

I tried to scramble the database to send to you (Tools>Database>Other>MaskData).

All my grids are now blank.  What did I do wrong?

Yes.  I'm so paranoid I have multiple copies for each day stretching back for weeks.

Thanks for the file. I was able to open it and fix the "small" issue causing it to not open
I'll now look into the dupes issue

I get the same thing running 86a on a brand new database without scrambling.
It happens when I open the program. All grids are "white" -> i.e. maybe some loading difficulties.

OK... Somehow, that item had itself as main parent. Not sure how this could have happened.
In v87 I've updated the Repair function to fix this.
