I have IQ set to backup every 15 minutes, and the HTML pane set to backup every 1 minute. I was just working on a long draft in the HTML pane. I clicked on another grid and IQ crashed (first time this has happened in a long time). I reopened and everything I had typed into the HTML pane was completely gone.
1. I then went back and opened the most recent backup from about 8 minutes earlier. But that didn't contain anything in the HTML pane either. Shouldn't it have? Or did the content in the HTML pane not get saved when the files was backed up because I was still working in the HTML pane? I know the content of the pane gets saved when IQ is closed, but not every minute (my setting) or when a backup is done if someone is working in it?
2. Is there any way to improve IQ to better prevent this from happening? Even with programs that use a database there is usually some type of save command I can constantly select to make sure work is being saved as I go. On the rare occasion that this happens when using IQ, I always feel frustrated that if I could have just been hitting Cntr/S as I was working in the pane, this wouldn't have happened. However I'm not a programmer so may not understand the issue.
3. If I had repeatedly clicked in and out of the HTML pane as I was working, would that have had the effect of saving?
Thanks

1- Strange. If it's automatically saved every minutes, it should be there. And leaving an item automatically saves the pane's content (I just tried it)
