somehow when i type "{sometag}" in the wikitag box it doesnt creat a link to that tag instead i have to type "<a {sometag}>sometag</a>" then it works. but thats cumbersome. sqlnotes, aparently until now, to me, doesnt work in a pratical way to use tags...does anybody know any pratical way to work with tags? what i mean is that when i type "sometag AND anyothertag" (not necessary in that order) in the search field i get the results with those tags. the only way, to me, to do this is with the Wikitags.

exemplifying:

search field: sometag AND anyothertag

item found:
Item: foundtag
WikiTag: {anyothertag},{sometag}

im not sure if i was clear...thankx for the interest

You are quite correct that wikitags are only partly implemented.
  1. To assign wikitags to an item, enter the tag text, {  }  enclosed in the WikiTag field
  2. To create a link to an existing tag, click on the hyperlink button
  3. Wikitags do not work in the HTML pane, only in the grid
  4. There is no UI to view items of specific tags. You can:
    • Use search: enter the wikitag. Hit enter to view the list of items
    • Create a hyperlink (item 2 above)
    • Use the advanced search, enter the list of tags (supports AND, OR), select the Wikitag field
Much improvements are required before calling the day on Wikitags...

when i create a link to a wikitag tag, like {sometag}, and when i click it opens a scratch with my search (so far so good) but the problem is that dont appear anything in the search because the source field is written: WikiTag like "*{href=sometag}*" when it should be, i think, WikiTag like "*{sometag}*". maybe a "nano" bug?

Humm, I'll check to remove the href.

But when I create a link using the Hyperlink, I get this:

<a {Bug:Open}>collection</a>

That is, there is no "href". Perhaps the link was not created correctly.
