[suggestion / request]

Pierre, I've gotten used to being able to add fields in the email subject-line, e.g.
#Project=XYZ
etc.

Wondering could this be possible via the new-item dialogue ?

When adding a new item via the new-item dialogue,
I am unable to add any fields that are not simple y/n fields

At one stage wasn't there was a sync button for the PP in that dialogue? -- where one could work in the properties pane (for the new item) while the dialogue was open:
This option doesnt seem to exist or work any more.

Related bug:

if I try to add:
Project=XYZ
to that dialogue, it causes any other fields on the list to fail:

below, the Emails field is *not* ticked in the resulting new item

Good suggestion !

In v94a, you can assign values to fields in the field list box. This is a first step. Note that the dropdown still only shows Y/N fields, so you'll need to add the field name by hand, i.e.: Inbox, Notes=this is a note, Archived

1) I thought fields could be listed in the new item/clipper dialogue with a return after each one e.g.
Emails
ToDo
etc
=> this no longer the case: only first field gets applied
even if I add comma after each one, only first one works if return is used between

either I described this incorrectly,
or this has changed in 94b:

if there is a return after the first field listed, and no comma:
*no* fields are applied.

Note it works fine when done e.g. thus:
ToDo, Software=IQ, etc.
