Request:

that the Properties Pane (PP) retain it's size when resizing an adjacent pane.

See screenshot:

HTML pane docked on the right-hand side of window
next to the left comes the PP (left again the grid tabs)

=> when I resize the HTML pane, the PP adjusts its size (width).

I would prefer and find it more logical that the PP retain its size

(In the layout below, I can resize the PP from its left-hand side.)

Not really... unless you put the Properties pane to the right of the HTML pane.

I'll try the HTML pane on autohide again (I tend to open and close it a lot -- it defaults to right-hand side when opened)

How about if it opened to the left of the PP instead ?

I was thinking of asking for that - it would certainly suit me better.

The PP is always displayed here (I cant speak for others, but it is surely on average open more than the HTML pane), so having it fixed and stable would be great.
