Is there a way to get back to default zoom in the grids?
Something similar to browser where often it's Ctrl+0 that gets you back to 100% viewing scale

Hi Tom,

I could add a Zoom Reset command, but in reality, there is not "default zoom" for grids. Changing the zoom just changes the font size (see grid properties).

yeah, I would love a return to default font size command / hotkey

Sometimes I zoom in when reading larger amounts of text, and find it disorientating when going through a few grids and they're all different font sizes. It disturbs my sense of order -- you would laugh at this point if you could see my home-office ;-)

In v95:
  • New: View > Zoom Reset (grids, map view, surface, calendar)

Pierre,
a minor visual problem -- just wanted to report:

There is a inconsistency in font sizes within the grid when one zooms (in or out),
also an inconsistency in font sizes within the grid when Zoom Reset is used.

Note that this is corrected by refreshing the grid.

Reproducible in sample file with 95b (but has been like this for a very long time)

that's an oldie. Like you said : refreshing "fixes" it.
