It appears that there's a limit on how much text an item cell will display.  It appears to be about 400 words and isn't affected by changing the column width.  Words over that limit are still there when you enter edit mode, but they're not displayed in the grid.
 
Is that correct?

There is no limit to the size of a text cell can contain, however it does indeed only display the first 2000 characters or so.
 
I'll ask again the grid supplier to lift that restriction, we'll see...

I just wanted to confirm that it's behaving as designed.  For me, it's easy to work around now that I'm aware the limit exists.  Not something that needs urgent fixing at all.
