In Options it would be great to have following for web clipping

Option to default to:-
1) HTML
2) MHT
3) last used

so if (1) is selected, and I save an MHT clip, the next time I clip something it will be @ HTML again (I'm getting used to checking it but it takes a while!)

Good idea Tom. I would second this. Where would the option appear? In the clip dialog or Tools | Options?

I guess Tools > Options

it would clutter up the clip dialogue box maybe ?

with programme default being to default to HTML

OTOH, doesn't it make sense to copy data w/o graphics to mht while graphic laden data to html? If it's in options... well... you get what I mean. This assumes user might want to edit or highlight some data, etc. If you don't make this assumption, then it shouldn't make much difference.

if you capture whole pages, it makes no difference.
If you capture sections of pages however, I'd say the opposite. MHT files retain graphics. HTM (currently) simply reference graphics URL, if it goes away, you won't be able to see it.
