How do I set text fields to have word wrap turned on by default?  Every time I add a text column it comes in with word wrap off.
I couldn't find anything in the Help File, Options, Field Properties, or Manage Grids.

Strangely no, there is no way right now, I'll add it to the wish list
For v98, I'll use the Wrap in Properties pane property

I was going to request this:
 
shortcut to toggle on/off wrap for column - also works for current column when only one cell is selected.
 
till I realised it exists -- well, the shortcut has to be assigned via customise/etc
Makes life much easier if you want to quickly show / hide a lot of text in the grid

This doesn't address Wayne's request, but In case anyone else finds it useful, Wordwrap is available as a singe button toggle command that can be added to any toolbar.  I find both views have their pluses and minuses so I like being able to instantly switch a grid between them with the click of a button.  I mention it only because it's so easy (at least for me) to forget that just about every command in IQ can be added to the toolbar and usually keyboatf shortcut for fast access.
