 I brought this up once before and I know a few others also commented they would like to see this.  I would like to use the "list of items" feature for a pop-up.  But the pop-up only shows top-level items in the grid that list of items refers to.  Would it be possible (in an upcoming release) for the pop-up to show both parent and child items in the grid?

Flat view or tree view ?
 
Flat view, you can do it right now, simply assign the grid source to all items in the grid.
For tree view, you'll have to wait a while, because I have many other things on the waiting list !!

Tree view, otherwise all context is lost.  But good to know flat view works as long as all items use the field.
