Edit / Important Note:
the problem is that whenever I manually type a '#' symbol in column filters it does not work

=>
Using the column filter, I'm trying to find a tag-word e.g.
#layout,

the following do not work when typed in i.e. nothing at all is displayed in the filtered grid

#layout
#layout*
*#layout*

EDIT// Pierre -- I see this works correctly if I leave out the hashtag '#' when filtering, so I guess it is a bug?
Important Note: if I tick #layout in the dropdown list it does displays items (with only #layout in the field)
But, if I manually type in #layout, it does not work

[/quote]I see this worked because it was set to 'any keywords' (as opposed to the first option that recognises wildcards)

Hi Tom,

# is a wildcard character for a single digit

In v101, I've updated the UI to show that clearly. I'll also update the documentation.

When filtering for #, use one of the 2 other Types: Any keywords or All keywords

Related I guess:
I'm going to stick to Ctrl+G as it seems more flexible and functional.
Just reporting this below as it seems inconsistent to me

Filtering for two tags works via Gtrl+G (if wildcards setting selected)
*font* *layout*

If I try to type the same in the column filter (via column header):
  1. the text often disappears after I press the spacebar between the two words (I havent figured out why it not always happen - may be if there an existing filter in operation)
  2. if I do manage to type it, it shows nothing (Gtrl+G with same filter shows items)
  3. minor bug - if I type text in the column filter (via column header) and then use Ctrl+Arrowkey to move to before or after a word: the item hierarchy in the grid collapses or expands
