You should see no speed difference between the two, at least in theory. Program start may be just slightly longer.

All tests are done on the portable version

For the record, I found some differences in performance depending on how I start the program. I have absolutely no idea why that is. I use the portable version.

 

When I start the program through a launcher (with Find And Run Robot, for instance -- but I think there are other cases, I just don't have the time find and reread my notes at the moment), IQ is 1.5x slower. On my oldish laptop -- but otherwise perfectly functional, so let's save the planet, and some money --, it's a huge difference.

 

Maybe someone will have an idea why that is.
