Hi IQ Users !

From a 2016 article in the WSJ:
[quote]
Students who take notes by hand in class outperform students who type notes.
As more students use their phones, laptops and tablets in class, they may be surprised to learn they will have more success learning new material if they write.

Interview here:

One good reason to use IQ's built-in Ink documents to take notes during classes and meeting... or anywhere else using an Android phone / tablet with a stylus (and sync with IQ)

Imagine when the new Audio recording feature is integrated with the Ink documents... ...
Just tap on a stroke and hear the audio at that very moment. Great to catch up critical stuff which you didn't have the time to record !

Hi Maciej,

I've used Nebo before and try it after each version upgrade. But, it just doesn't seem right. Yes, it has great character recognition, but handwriting with it is cumbersome:
  1. No select and move
  2. Cannot toggle between handwriting and converted text
  3. Not fluid, etc
IMHO, Write is so much better at handwriting.

But I could be wrong, so please share what you like of Nebo over Write

I was thinking of Nebo as an additional handwriting tool, simply for its handwriting recognition. I do take notes during meetings which are ready to send via email or to Word after converting to text – super nice feature. I use Write as well and often. Together they’re killing combo for hand-writers like me, and I'd love to being able to link them both to my IQ Items.

Nice combo indeed. Nebo doesn't save natively as SVG files so they can't be displayed in the HTML pane as it is right now. MyScript do have SDK that can be used though to make some kind of integration

Right now, if you're mostly interested in its handwriting recognition, could copy / paste be a valid option.

Also available is Export to Word, Share as Text and View in Browser commands
In particular, if you do View in Browser and then copy the file name, you can open that file in the HTML pane of an item and the Nebo page will be displayed

Nice hint, I'll give it a try. Thanks!
