Just curious.  How is the identification of an item's multiple parents stored in an IQ database?  (might be an awkward way to phrase the question)

I thought that IQ might store the IDItem numbers for each parent as a comma-separated list in the ItemParent field.  But in the Properties Pane > Item Info > Values section, the ItemParent field shows only the item text for the original parent item - even when the child item is selected under its "alternate" parent.  Of course this could just be how the ItemParent's content is displayed, and not reflect what is actually stored in the field.  Maybe it actually contains the IDtem numbers for all the child item's parents.

That's something I've been interested in as well.
Together with the possibility to change the "Main Parent".
Maybe it was implemented along the way?

that's been there a long time now --
right-click non-main parent for option to change status:

Thanks :) I will look into it. Lots of catching up to do, I guess.
