Issue #1 - feature request
I'd like to have the option to have all single clicks select the cell, not enter "edit mode". The only option I see is to set the option for what single click does: Options>Grid>Start Edit on a single click on: [blank area][text].
So first, it would be nice to have the option to turn off "start edit on a single click" and have edit mode entered only when I double click on a cell.
Issue #2 - bug
The present system wouldn't be so bad if it worked correctly, but it appears to me that it doesn't. I have the option set to "blank area". So to select a cell, I should only have to make sure that I click on the part of the cell that contains text. Even though I try to do that, dozens of times a day I enter edit mode when I don't want to.
The problem appears to be this: if you hover your cursor over item text, it changes to an arrow. If you click on the item, it selects the cell, which is correct.
However, if you move the cursor down just slightly, it switches to the vertical bar cursor, which means you'll enter edit mode if you click on the text:
Apparently, InfoQube considers the narrow space below text to be "blank space". But it's not even consistent about that. If you move your cursor around along the bottom of the text, it seemingly randomly switches between arrow and bar.
