 Hi PIerre,

Once in a while, I'll type something quite long in the "new item" dialog, and hit ESC by mistake (or maybe because some other dialog gets in the way and I want to close it quickly, but the focus isn't where it should be...).
If one does that while the dialog inadvertently has the focus, it instantly disappears and the data is... lost.

Is it possible for IQ to ask for confirmation before closing the dialog and erasing the content?

Thanks!

Excellent idea. In v109:
  • New: New Item dialog: Pressing Escape shows a dialog to confirm (if content was entered)
HTH !

 Great! thanks Pierre!

Thanks for bringing this up.  It's happened to me many times.  This will be a welcome little fix.

Has this idea been suggested:

A button to:
Add item but keep dialogue open
or
some sort of temporary save button/option, again allowing dialogue to stay open so one can work further on the content.

This would further facilitate IQ's use as a notetaker when working in other apps.
