It's kind of funny because a couple of hours ago I was thinking about posting a thread with the opposite complaint.  Double-clicking the item used to always activate edit mode, but increasingly, it's started launching the URL.  I thought that was the bug.  I guess I have to get used to using F2 to edit items that have URLs.

I hadn't thought of that!  I just tried to see if there was a way to enter edit mode with the mouse only, other than a double-click, and there doesn't seem to be any.  The right-click menu has a Popup Editor option but not an Edit option.  
 
Perhaps the behavior of a double-click on the Item cell could be a user option?
