I've been thinking that I disklike the "highlight selected cell" option, regardless of whether I have a "semi-transparent selector" enabled or not. When I do, the contrast between text and background of the selected cell is rather poor. When I don't, the item text colour is no longer displayed. I use text colours heavily to reflect item priority and contexts (as in GTD) so that doesn't really cut it either. The thing is, when I disable "highlight selected cell" to enter a more simple, Ecco-style mode of highlighting, it becomes quite hard to discern the selected cell, which leads me to suggest that a thicker frame around it (currently it's only a very thin dotted line) would be useful. An option to vary this thickness and a choice of colour for the frame would be great, too!
Also, when highlighting is disabled, a glitch becomes apparent in that when selecting an item, the highlight colour flashed up briefly, then disappears again. (Or is that intentional?)
Edit1: Just discovered another bug (?) in the non-highlighted mode: I can't copy the text of the currently selected item to the clipboard without entering edit mode.
Edit2: Another problem in that mode: can't erase an item unless I select multiple items (using shift-cursor or mouse drag).
Thanks for considering!
