I hear you. It's a similar issue to the 'orphans' question. There, users can list a number of fields to ignore when searching for orphans. What I had in mind was a similar method to make sure that an item is only in the current grid and has no values for any other fields that are likely to be grids that I view.
A similar question: Is it possible to make fields mutually exclusive (may through VB scripting)? I.e. If I paste an item to grid 'A' it will be automatically removed from grid 'B'?
