Another idea that might be useful for working with grids with many columns.

 

It might be useful to be able to define subsets of a grid's native columns and to be able to switch rapidly between the subsets.

 

Currently the Column > Column Sets menu allows us to switch between the native column set, the columns of any form, and the columns of another grid.  

 

Now we could define a subset of native columns as a form or as another grid, and that way it would appear in the Column > Column Sets menu, but then it would be mixed in with the other forms and grids lin the list.

 

A "Native Columns Subset" section would fit neatly under the "Native Column Set" choice in the Columns > Column Sets menu.

 

Or maybe it would be better to just have a Native Column Sets button on the Column Header line - clicking the button would toggle between the different Native Column Subsets defined for a grid.
