Hello,
I'd appreciate your help.
Is it possible to copy the field/columns layout (not content) from grid A to grid B?
This screencast shows what I mean: http://bit.ly/2Kem3Sn
Thank you!
Carlos

Method #1

1) Grid>Manage grids>[pick the grid whose columns you want to copy]options>check "Show this grid in the Properties pane"
2) In new grid: Column>column sets>From grids>[select the grid name from step #1]
3) Columns will load
4) Grid>Save>2. Save the new set of columns

The above will load the same set of columns from step  1.  Note:

1) The columns will be in the same order but they will all be to the right of the item column.  If the first grid had
columns to the left of the item column, this arrangement will not be preserved

2) The column set will not preserve hidden columns or grouped columns.  Hidden columns will
be shown and grouped columns will be ungrouped.

Method #2

1) Grid>New grid>[fill in new grid name]>Options>Copy of an existing Grid
2) [new selection box:] Create a duplicate of the following grid>[select the grid whose columns you want to copy]
3) New grid will load with exact layout of the existing grid
4) Since you want a blank grid: Select all items in the new grid (click on column header)>Properties Pane>scroll down to field for your new grid (same name)>uncheck the field
5) View>refresh
5) This should leave you with a new, empty grid with all the same fields as the existing grid.

Advantages of this method:
1) Exact column layout is preserved
2) Hidden and grouped columns are preserved

There may be other ways I'm not thinking of.

here's another - Grids > Save As, pick new grid name.  Then change the source, filters, and source order as desired.
