Hello again.  I continue to want to embrace Infoqube as my Ecco replacement, but I cannot go back to Windows.  I tried today to install the latest Infoqube into the latest Crossover in a Windows 7 bottle.  The install seemed to go ok, but every time I tried to open the program it crashed weirdly, apparently unable to open or create a new infobase, even from the templates.

I can report back with more detail of the error but thought I would ask first whether anyone is running successfully in Linux or whether developments in the last year have made that impossible.  Seems like when I was trying this about a year or two ago I could at least get the program to open a sample database.

Hi !

If you're willing to help, it would be great... We could go over the required Windows components install and I could send over test versions with some components removed until we get it to work.
(e.g. IQ support phone dialing using TAPI, which probably no one uses, as PCs nowadays don't have phone connections, it could be removed to see if it is the cause)

Best is to send me a private message and we can go from there.

Pierre I am trying to do this once again, this time with the Outliner download, but still running into problems.

NowI actually have a problem because I can't seem to log into this forum reliably.  I am in, but I am trying to change my password and it is not giving me that option    I will see what I can do here..
