Leftie is back from holiday, so here goes:

Say you want to change the recurrence pattern of the item currently selected in the grid. Wouldn't it be nice to have a command to jump directly to that item's representation in the calendar? I assume the only method to do this currently is to manually locate the event through the calendar UI?

Also / alternatively, is there a way to directly open the 'Event details' dialog for a grid item that is entered in the calendar?

Many thanks!

No, you can also display the associated date (grid column / Properties pane) and edit the date (F2). The dialog has a button to edit the event

Thanks Pierre, That's semi-helpful for gaining direct access to the Calendar-specific fields (Where, Description, etc) from a Grid. Does the Event Dialog have to be Modal (hampers cut&paste)? Still wishing for the Calendar-specific fields to be available as Grid Columns.

Thanks! Good to see it's already there - I just never noticed, like so many 'hidden' (to the uninitiated) goodies.

Hi Left !

Some major changes for events in v114m...
Basically, the Show / Remove from Calendar commands are replaced with a single Item Events menu which shows relevant information
Here is a preview :
