Hi,

My "clip to item" shortcut is: {Alt} {Win} a
Just after clipping to item window appears, IQ sometimes crashes suddenly, even before I press the "add item" button. And when I could press the button and the crash happened, the item wasn't inserted into IQ database.
I noticed the crashes being more often when I have two or more IQ database opened at same time.
I'm available to provide further information anytime.

Thanks,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,

A couple of questions:
  1. Is this a new issue ? Do you know of a version that didn't do this ?
  2. Does the New Item dialog do the same thing ? (Ctrl + N)
  3. Can you find something that makes it crash systematically ?
  4. Pre v114f, there was an issue with PC with nVidia graphics cards, but this has been fixed. Can you reproduce the issue on another PC ?

Hi Pierre,

I recorded my screen detailing the issue: http://bit.ly/2J7xeuX

1. This is a new issue since v. 0.9.114e and present in v114g. There is no issue with v. 0.9.114d.
2. The New Item dialog does the same thing; however with the universal clipping, it happens more often.
3. The universal clipping makes IQ to crash systematically. The likelihood increases if two or more databases are opened at the same time.
4. I couldn`t reproduce the issue in another PC I tried v114g. I`ve attached the system specs of both computers I tested IQ.
If you need further information, please let me know.

Thank you,
Carlos
