Hi,

I’m excited about the new Related Items functionality!

However, some aspects informed in the user manual (https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/4669) aren’t working for me, as detailed in this screencast: http://bit.ly/2BfbAjU

a) Related Items Toolbar

I’m using v. 0.9.114g, but this toolbar isn’t available. Should I perform any tweak for this toolbar to become available?

b) More Info Pane

No related item information appears, even items with relationships are selected. Any way to force information to appear?

c) ItemsRelatedCount column

This is just a comment regarding the “origin item”, which is not counted as part of the relationship. Since the default IQ relationship seems to be bi-directional, should the “origin item” be counted too?

a) Perhaps I forgot to include the correct menu file. v114h is coming and I'll ensure it is there

b) There is an issue with this when the mode is Show Mouse-over. Right-click on the pane content and select Show Selected instead

c) This is probably a refresh issue. Does F5 fix it ?

b) I don't know why, but when I click on View>More Info the panel isn't appearing anymore. Any idea to force it to appear?

b) Perhaps the pane is somewhere off screen... Is View > More Info "checked" ? The only way in the current version to close a non-visible pane is to (1) close IQ and (2) delete the default.dock.dat file (user folder). In v114h, Ctrl + F4 will close the active pane

In v114h:

New: Ctrl+F4 and Ctrl+W now closes the active pane
New: Right-click on a pane command (View menu) show a command to close that pane

Hi Pierre,

Regarding the “View > More Info”, just by updating to v.114h the issue was fixed.

Further points regarding Related Items:

a) Status Bar: When an item has 2 or more relations, they aren’t being shown in the status bar.

b) Grid Column/Cell tooltip: “Hold Ctrl while hovering over the cell to show the tooltip” isn’t responsive all the time. By the way, where to set tooltips to be shown permanently?

a) Actually it was because the item text contained a "&". Fixed in v114i

b) View > Tooltips. Display improved in v114i
