I would find it very useful if there was a filter here to the affect of "show only user created fields". When I am managing fields I would like to be able to see the fields I have created without having to see the 100 or so required default fields.

Hi David,
 
You can click the ID column down arrow and enter >200 to filter out systems fields
Does that do the trick for you ?

Interesting!! I had already noticed that some "Default" Fields could be removed while others couldn't; now I know how to distinguish one from the other (ItemID >= 200 are removable).
