  • Tools > Google Connect
  • Use the little dot selector on a calendar that has already been set up and choose a different date field to sync with*. IQ tells you it has previously synced with a different calendar and are you sure. Click "Yes" and IQ freezes.

*Probably not best practice but I was trying to do it for an unused calendar that had never synced any items anyhow.
Also I believe Tom reported this next once once before. My calendar keeps going back to 1898 :-). Not sure why but I did just have top force IQ closed because of the above incident. Perhaps that causes it to go back to 1989?

Another issue I am experiencing and I have tried everything from closing and reopening to rebuilding the database is I have the field due date set to "show on calendar by default". But no matter what I do, the "show on calendar" is always unchecked when i add a due date in a grid and I have to check it manually. The same does Not occur on date fields I created, those work fine.

OK, this is a big issue, at least for me :-). This all started because I tried to change one calendar per the first post. So I figured the way to fix this would be to completely disconnect the calendars and then reconnect and link each one to new date fields I had connected. But I can no longer link any calendar, because IQ still warns me when I try to set them up that they were previously connected to another field...and then the crash happens.

On top of that, if I try a second time it tells me that the new date field I created cannot be used because it is in use with another calendar. Except it is not, it is the date field I was trying to connect when IQ previously crashed.

Thanks

Hi David,

Indeed, I discovered that bug a few days ago myself too. It is now fixed and will release an update shortly

[edit] It seems Google needs to validate that IQ is safe, so while this is done, you'll get a warning when connecting to Google. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon [edit]
