Many related items appear duplicated in the grid (and sometimes even "triplicated"), but not in the properties pane.
Not sure how to reproduce this, it just happens, and not for all links. (For what it's worth : my related items are created using the "add as related items" function that uses marked items.)
 
Here's an example of what I see :
 
 
I tried :
- refreshing the grid
- compacting and repairing the DB
- restarting IQ

I found the source of the problem.
 
A LF/CR needs to be inserted in the first line of the item field before the 76th char (the limit where IQ cuts the string for displaying purposes in the "related items" field).
 
(And if the first char of the item field is a LF/CR [e.g. to skip a line before entering text for formatting purposes -- not that common, I guess], the related item will not just be duplicated, but triplicated)

Fixed in v115e:
  • Fixed: Grid: Related items column showed duplicate items when the linked items contained a newline character
