I need help with what I thought was a simple tax.

 

Two grids: 1) Papers; 2) Papers-bup

 

I want all TLIs assigned to (1) to also be assigned to (2).

 

Auto-assign field list in Manage Grids isn't what I want because it also assign subitems.

 

I should be able to get what I want using the Data Source option in Manage Grids

 

I've tried the following sources for the Papers-bup grid:

 

1) Papers

2) Papers, Papers-bup

3) Papers OR Papers-bup]
4) [Papers] [Papers-bup]

5) Papers | Papers-bup

 

Thought the problem was the syntax.  Couldn't find anything in the manual on how to enter multiple fields as sources.  I think comma-separated is right.

 

Regardless of syntax, (1) should work but it doesn't.

 

Haven't tried autoassign in the field dialogue but I should be able to do this using sources.
