I'm using IQ v0.9.115e.
During a regular session when the focus is on the grid, very often the keyboard "arrows" have stopped working for navigating the items, as shown in this screencast: https://bit.ly/2z4bjD4
 
For instance, when I press "arrow up/down", the selected item doesn't change.
However, if I press F7 or F8 to navigate previous and next item, it works always. 
 
Another key that often stops working is "backspace" when editing the item content. So I can't delete the last typed letter or word, for instance.
 
Overall, the problem is temporarily fixed when I leave InfoQube window, open another application, then by returning to IQ the keyboard "arrows" will start working automatically. However, at some point the problem will appear again within the same session, being necessary to repeat the procedure cyclically to reestablish the keys functionality.
 
I couldn't notice clearly what triggers the issue of some keys stopping to work, but sometimes it happened when I was editing content on the DocPane, then clicked an item on the Grid and when pressing "arrow up/down" it doesn't work anymore. However, this is not consistent, since the majority of the time this change of focus Grid<>DocPane will not trigger the issue.

I've only had problems when using Autohotkey to send virtual keystrokes, especially cursor keys and delete. Do either of you use any kind of macro software that might get in the way? On a hunch, what keyboard layout do you guys use - US ANSI? Or an ISO variant? Though that shouldn't really affect the specific keys you mentioned.

Hi Left,

I'm not using any macro software. My keyboard layout is known as US International (QWERTY).

I use AHK with IQ, but regarding the context this specific problem has appeared, I cannot associate it with AHK. (Although I've faced other, different, strange behaviors when using AHK with IQ).
 
I'm sure several times the problem happened I hadn't even triggered a single macro.
 
Regarding my keyboard, it is set as Portuguese (Brazil ABNT2).

I was trying to fix another issue and did a small change. I'll try to reproduce it and ensure it is fixed

Thanks for looking after this issue.
Since you are investigating a focus issue, I'm taking the opportunity to inform another focus issue I'm facing often, regarding the live-search (Shift+Alt+F).
When the live-search is docked (snapshot below), after I perform a search and move the focus to the grid, some strange behaviors have happened, causing trouble to type item's content.
Another less frequent problem after performing live-search is that when you use keyboard combinations (e.g. Alt+Ctrl) for triggering certain IQ inbuilt commands, the focus changes intermittently between the items on the grid and the search field on the live-search. 
I'd appreciate if you can take a look on this other issue too.
