It would be nice if we could scroll a grid by swiping up or down on any column.  Right now we have to swipe on the narrow scroll bar.  If we swipe on the tree column, a drag and drop is initiated.  If we swipe on another column, cells are selected.  Perhaps different functions could be performed if touchscreen swipes are done with and without Ctrl pressed (or some such combination)?

I did some tests and I can't get something that works well.
Calendar, Surface and Cardview support it already, but it's difficult with the grid.
 
Perhaps in the future...
In the meantime, touchpad 2-finger swipes works very well, in particular PCs with precision touchpads (does horizontal scroll too !)
