Fields in the forms pane should remain stationary.

I wanted to re-assign items from different grids to other grids using forms.

To make this easier, I moved the forums I will be using to the top of the view so I can find them.

But every time I switch grids, the fields jump around and I lose sight of the fields I want to use.

There's probably a reason for this but it kind of defeats the purpose of quickly assigning items to fields if the field targets keep jumping around.

I've noticed other times that the form fields scroll and move around on their own as I do other tasks.  Seems like they should stay put unless I move them but there may well be a reason I'm not thinking of.

Besides losing track of the fields for item assignment, the constant scrolling and jumping around in my peripheral vision while I am working is annoying (at least to me, obviously).

Hi Wayne,

Do you mean that the form fields actually move w.r.t. other field in forms ?
Or simply that the Properties pane scrolls so the field is not being shown at the same vertical position ?

If it's the second, the trick is to close the Item Properties section as it contains a number of elements which vary in size (field values, children, tags, etc)

OK, that's helpful re closing the item properties section.

It seems to me that this section opens on its own.  Is that possible?   I rarely use this section but from time to time will notice that it has opened and crowded out my forms view.
