Hi Pierre,

Wildcards in Omnibox in version 117pre4 don't work when placed at the end of a string

Ex.: *proj*

There are no results.

In previous versions (at least in 116f) the same query would allow to filter grids names -- ex. see all grids containing the string "proj".

Tell me if you can't reproduce it.

Thanks!

Hi Armando !

Good to see you here !

If you omit the trailing *, it works here...

In fact, the leading * is no longer required either

Thank you!

I tried some more and what I believe happens here is that the favorites take the whole results space (I have a lot of favorites).

Before, for some reason, using wildcards allowed to see grids only, which was convenient to jump rapidly to some grid without browsing and clicking through menus (I have a lot of grids... too).

How about if I only returned the first X Favorites (where X could be 15 I guess)

In v117Pre5:
  • New: Omnibox: Can now filter result by type. Prefix with one of /S, /F, /V or /C (Search, Favorites, Views, Command)
  • Change: Omnibox: Limit the number of items to 20 per type unless a filter prefix is used

Great idea, and quick implementation! Thanks Pierre!
