Would this be possible, i.e. to automatically underline the text of any item that has children?

Formats: Underline=1 [or whatever the code is for underlining]

Great, thank you, Wayne. Works like a charm. Should have thought of that myself.
 
May I suggest that users here try this out? I have about 20 years of outlining under my belt and I feel it makes grids much more readable in that you don't have to always look for those chevrons / arrows along the left edge to see whether an item is actually a parent. Hence my suggestion that this be made an easily accessible option.
