I've lost / forgotten how to show a list of grids on the bottom of IQ's window, i.e. status bar area
 
Also how to move tabs to left edge like property , etc can be moved to right edge if not pinned.
 
Also is it / will it be possible to create a combination of  horizontal & verticle windows (to be memorized by IQ like URpro does at the current time)?

For list of grids:-
 
Grids > View
Click on the top of the View drop-down and drag it - you have a toolbar with all the grid tabs in it
Dock to the left or below
 
I dont know are you able to sho the open grid tabs elsewhere than on top of grids -
there may be an option for that in the options
