I found when doing a large number of firefox web clippings (with the IQ web clipping extension) that IQ would occasionally crash right after a web clipping, perhaps an average of maybe every 40 or 50 clips or so.

I never could find a pattern of what might be causing it.

I was capturing partial web pages, not whole pages the entire time, then deleting superfluous graphics. I thought maybe the delete the graphics caused it, but it happened to clips not containing graphics also.

Maybe the average (sane) IQ user would never experience this, but it would be nice to have it totally robust for the occasional large volume web-clipping project.

I've experienced a crash while clipping a web page yesterday too. First time this happens to me though, and I clip a lot... No idea why this happened.

(The last IQ build seems more prone to crash... without giving any clue about the problem generating the crash)

Was your clip to MHT?  I found clipping over a thousand clips, to mostly HTML, with an occasional MHT produced NO crashes! -- link to nonexistent node ID 556 --
