Pdf files in Document Pane displays Two Pages at a time. Is it possible to setup it up to only show a single page (with scroll bar of course)?
(it shows as a single page in Adobe Reader)

Is the document pane still outsourced to Internet Explorer? (I think so, but not sure...)

(If so) you could look at IE's settings to see if that makes a difference

PDF files show up as a single page here... surely there must be an option to set the default. What version of Adobe Acrobat are you using ?

I am using the latest Acrobat version (just downloaded). However, I just realized that the pane is not using Acrobat, but my Foxit PhantomPDF. I changed it to show one page there and I see one page in the Doc Pane now.

However, I would like to use Foxit with dual page, so I need to figure out how to force the Doc pane to use Acrobat instead (where I have set it to use a single page).

Yes, I did read the manual and I thought that IQ would use Acrobat. I am using Acrobat Reader DC and confirmed the settings (although they differ somewhat from Acrobar Reader X):.

I also followed these instructions:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Choose Tools > Manage Add-ons
  • In the list of add-ons, select Adobe PDF Reader
  • Click the Enable button

I also tried to set Acrobat as the default pdf reader in Windows, but IQ is still using Foxit PhantomPDF.
I want to use Acrobat in IQ (single page) but keep Foxit as the default pdf reader....

I try not to use google search, so I'll say "ecosia is your friend" →search link

First link suggests it's a Foxit IE plugin.

PS as someone who very often needs and looks for help online I get told (and sometimes forget myself, that,) it's very helpful to report what you've tried when making a request

That is exactly my problem. How do I set Foxit to be my default pdf viewer in Windows and Firefox but not in Internet Explorer? In Internet Explorer, I want it to be Acrobat - just so that it will show a single page, if that is how I setup Acrobat.

I have changed so many settings that I have lost track. Currently, Foxit is configured to be the windows default pdf viewer and to use dual (facing) pages. Adobe Acrobat is also configured to use dual pages.

It appears that Internet Explorer is using Foxit but it, and currently IQ, is now showing single pages anyway!?
FireFox is also showing a single page (not sure if it is using Acrobat or Foxit).

I don't understand what is going on, but I am leaving it as is for now.....

How do I ?
