I thought I reported this a long time ago and it was fixed but it must have been a different table issue.  Anyhow, why can't I create a table that is more than 3 columns?  Try it and you'll see what I mean, all columns after the 3rd don't size properly.

Also, let's say I create a table that is 7 columns wide by 25 rows.  Is there a way to modify the tables properties later on if I want to make it 40 rows instead of 25?  Also, in OneNote I can insert a table and when I get to the last row I can just keep adding rows by using the enter (or maybe it's the tab) key.  I'd really like to see that behavior with a table.  I never know how many rows I'm going to end up wanting, it would be like having to decide how many rows I want every time I open an Excel spreadhseet.  I realize of course that people use tables for different purposes, but this is how I like to use them, as a substitute spreadsheet when I do not need the features available in the grid view and do not need to do sorting or calculating etc.

Also, is there any way to choose  a default font for all HTML panes?

Upon further testing, the issue appears to be related to how many rows and columns I attempt to insert.  For example, 3 rows x 7 columns does not format correctly.  But 7 rows by 7 columns does.

Hmmmm. I don't seem to have that problem here.

Seems to be working here too.

However I do notice that no matter what I do the font inside the table is always Times New Roman. I can change it after inputting the text by highlighting and then Menu>Format>Font, but I cannot set it to another font for the table itself. Doesn't seem to be any Table Properties menu item (unless it happens to be one of those little icons in the contect menu).

So tables are basically locked in to (ugh) Times New Roman?
