I've been getting this error on this website quite often the last couple of days:

"Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression"

Humm... I've never seen this. Can you report Browser and Encoding settings?

I use FF and encoding is Unicode (UTF-8), auto-detect is Off

I got same page often over the last few days (and I was here relatively little over the weekend) with:
FF, up-to-date, Unicode (UTF-8), and Autodetect set to "universal"

Generally the page will load after a few attempts

  1. When did this start? Nothing has been changed in a few months...
  2. I just now disabled caching. Please report back if the problem is resolved

I sent you a mail on 23rd to say site was down - it was particularly bad that "morning" (GMT+1) - on & off otherwise within the last week  - but as said above they always loaded eventually (apart from that morning) so I didnt bother posting about it...

To be honest I didnt actually read the error page until yesterday

EDIT/ working perfectly this evening btw
