My calendar currently opens in a pane right of the active grid, with the properties pane making up the right edge of the screen.
While this is nice for viewing a couple of days or a week via the horizontal scroll option, what I've been wanting for a long time now is a quick way to pop up a fullscreen (monthly) calendar view, ideally without it altering (or me having to alter) anything about the existing calendar pane that I use, i. e. an independent month overview in a popup window would be really handy. For all I care, it could even be read-only.
Pierre, I believe you once mentioned multi-instance as being the way to achieve this. This seems overly complicated but if someone could walk me through it, I'd give it a shot.
Thanks very much!
How do I ?

Hi Left, If you right-click…
Hi Left,
If you right-click on View > Calendar and select Show in a new tab, you can have as many Calendars open as you wish. Did you know this ? Does it do what you want ?
I wasn't aware of this nifty…
I wasn't aware of this nifty feature (of course ...). However, I'm happy with using Google Calendar instead as its easier to maximize the view in the browser than in IQ with other panes open. But thanks for letting me know!
Great, but did you know that…
Great, but did you know that once you show it in a new tab, you can also detach it and have it floating in a separate window?
I see. That should come in…
I see. That should come in useful. For one thing, it can show more items per day in month view than Google Calendar (at a comparable font size).
and you can see 1, 2, 3, 4,…
and you can see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7+ weeks, you name it... Google, well 1 and 5 (or 6 depending on the month), nothing else
