Program Menu | Options | This file | Data Storage settings are as follows:
 
create backup on program close = checked
auto-backup every x minutes (0=disabled) = 3
backup folder = f:\sqlnotes data backup
Timestamp backups = checked
compact on program close = yes
 
The problem is that the aforementioned backup folder does not exist
Am I supposed to create this folder for IQ?
Where has IQ been putting my backup files every 3 minutes?
How many backup files does IQ create?
 
There is a forced 'save as' if Menu | File
Would it be possible to add a forced save command as in <CTRL>+S in this same drop down

It appears user has to create the folder, i.e. it is not created if user simply enters data in
Tools | Options | This File | Data Storage | Backup Folder
User has to create folder elsewhere & point to it in above dialog
 
Maybe a user tip would be useful here
