This has happened a few dozen times:  I hit ctrl-right arrow to move one item under another.  Instead of moving the item, it expands all the items in the grid to the 15th level.  I haven't been able to reproduce it.

How do I restore the grid so all items and sub-items are collapsed?

Item>Sub-Items>Show Levels>1 =
this collapses outline to 1 level, but leaves all the sub-levels expanded.

Item>Sub-Items>Show main sub-items =
this helps but still leaves many sub-levels expanded.

There's a command for "show all sub-items".  Don't we need a command for "collapse all sub-items"? Maybe it's there and I can't find it.

Hi Wayne,

I guess apart from doing a Ctrl+Shift+9 then the same with 8 then 7 all the way to 1, there is no other ways. I just collapse to level 1 and do not worry that internally sub-items are expanded (because I don't see it)

The easy changes could be:

  1. Add an option to always collapse sub levels, not just the current level
  2. Add an option to the Show Levels dialog

What do you think would work best for you?
