I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank Pierre for the outstanding work he has done on reworking and upgrading the IQ Calendar. The improvements have brought it to a point where it now rivals—and in most cases surpasses—many dedicated calendar apps available today.
A few weeks ago, I decided to transition from Any.do to the IQ Calendar. While I found IQ useful, I felt it was slightly underpowered for my needs. I compiled a list of feature requests and sent it off to Pierre. With most other programs, you submit your suggestions and hope for the best—maybe, if enough people ask, the changes might happen. Often, though, they don’t.
Pierre, however, operates differently. Not only did he acknowledge my requests, but he also took immediate action. From what I can tell, he essentially rebuilt the calendar section from the ground up, incorporating nearly everything I had asked for. He even mentioned that he’s working on the remaining items.
This level of support is exceptional—truly support with a capital S.
So, Pierre, thank you. Thank you very much for your dedication, responsiveness, and the incredible effort you’ve put into making the IQ Calendar a top-tier tool. Your work is deeply appreciated!

Still missing is the ability for the calendar to have multiple views like grids do. If I have all the date feilds visible in the calendar - the bar shrinks so small its not useful. So I break up in different views - but then each time the file is opened, ALL the views reset to the same 'date' feild being toggled on/off. this is terribly inefficient. What id like is that each instance of the calendar to retain which 'date' feilds its showing. highly highly needed! The calendars also reset to the same 'zoom' - so I have to re-setup the view each time the file is opened (example agenda view from calendar month view from year view) etc. I hope this can be added soon!
