I was curious whether the presence of a hash tag in Item field text or Doc Pane text would be sufficient to set a tag in IQ.  For example, if I simply typed in "#tag" in the Item field or the Doc Pane.  It seems it does not.  Rather, from what I can tell, the only way to set a tag by typing in the Item field or Doc pane is to type "##" to activate the Tag Dialog and enter the tags through the dialog.  I also wondered whether a tag would be set if I opened a document (already containing hash tags e.g. "#tag") in the Doc Pane.  As I expected this did not happen.  But I suppose there could be such a function, such as "Find and Apply Tags in Text".
