I just successfully imported the attached tab-indented text file, 1427 lines (all paragraphs were one line each). Just a few notes.
(1) For some reason, IQ puts some of the last lines from the text file at the top of the grid. I have to move them down manually.
(2) One the first attempt there was still an "importing" message at the bottom. I thought maybe the import wasn't complete, but it was.
(3) The completion message wasn't persistent, would be good to be sure that the import was successfully completed.
(4) It was a quirk of the imported statutory material and my massaging process that some of the indented text was indented two tabs from the level above it, not one tab. I wondered how IQ would handle it. Obviously IQ can't and won't indent it two levels (Word unfortunately DOES do that with its "outlines"). IQ did handle the double-indented lines just fine, and indented them one level down from the parent.
I would have made this post a comment to my previous thread but it seems that the Forum programming doesn't allow attachments to comments.
