Is any thought being given to integrating AI inside InfoQube?
A couple months ago I started using ChatGPT to help me do OCR on old newspaper pdf's.
Getting text from old newspaper articles into InfoQube has been a long-standing problem for me. OCR software often fails miserably on old newspapers because of the small fonts, narrowly-spaced columns, stray marks on the scanned pages, etc. I've spent many an hour manually correcting bad OCR's.
Everything has changed since I've started using ChatGPT. It's light years ahead of any OCR software. I still have to proof read the result and it still does goofy things at times, but overall it is saving me a lot of tedious work.
i can't help but wonder if there's other tedious work it could help with if it understood InfoQube and could work inside the program.
